So now let us get started with this article and checkout the working hours of banks on Saturdays in India. Recently Reserve Bank of India passed an order to all the banks in India. They may be public, private, foreign and co-operative banks about the new working hours on Saturdays.

RBI ordered all the banks to remain closed on Second and Fourth Saturdays of the month, please note the banks will remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.

This order was passed by RBI on 28th August 2015 and this order is applicable to all the banks from 1st September 2015. They said RBI will provide all the support needed by the banks to operate on working Saturdays.

While they passed this order they even mentioned that this working hours time arrangements will be reviewed after 6 months of time.
